“Liebelei” (Flirtation) is the fourth volume of the “Works in historical-critical editions” and presents all the preserved manuscript sources in chronological order. Numerous drafts, sketches, and scenarios give insight into the process of creation of one of Arthur Schnitzler’s most famous dramatic works. All manuscripts are presented in original-sized facsimiles and transcribed along with a textual genesis.
